Harrisburg, Pennsylvania — A post on Facebook by Constitutional analyst Marc Scaringi led to a bitter exchange between him and the U.S. Congressman Dan Meuser.

The barbs started when Sacringi shared a Truth Social post by President Trump on May 25, 2026 regarding the primary election in Texas between Senator John Cornyn and Ken Paxton. He captioned the image by criticizing Trump for demanding loyalty from politicians.

“The American people are loyal to the U.S. Constitution, not to the President, Hitler changed the loyalty oath given by every German soldier from loyalty to the German Constitution to unconditional obedience to the Führer,” Scaringi said.

Meuser responded, “That’s sick. Frankly, there is no one who loves America and our constitution more than President Trump. All you seem to do is write about how bad Republicans are – Democrats are more socialist and radical than ever before.”

Scaringi countered, “Trump’s decision to go to war in Iran violated the War Powers Resolution and the United States Constitution. The war began at the behest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.Trump has repeatedly lied to the American people about his justification of the war.“

Moreover, Scaringi explained that the U.S. Constitution gave our founding fathers the power to declare war. He encouraged Congressman Meuser to fulfill his oath to defend the Constitution by urging his colleagues to pass a War Powers Resolution to end military action in Iran unless Congress authorizes actions or declares war.

Scaringi added that none of the war’s stated objectives have been achieved. “Thirty billion dollars of taxpayer money has funded the war, as well as U.S. casualties and Iran’s desire to seek revenge for the bombing of innocent children in an elementary school.”

Then Scaringi shared an image recently posted by Congressman Meuser of him standing with Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran, saying, “The people of Iran have suffered the tyranny of the Islamic fundamentalist regime for nearly 50 years.”

Scaringi sees it differently. He explains that the Islamic fundamentalist regime in Tehran shouts “Death to America” because we installed and supported the murderous, tyrant, the Shah of Iran and helped to remove the at least somewhat democratically elected Prime Minister Mossadegh. He suggests we should not repeat the same mistake. Meuser retorted that it happened more than 47 years ago and since then Iran has been engaged in terror against the United States and its own people. He suggested Scaringi should visit a country like Iran, “since you are apparently on their team.”

Scaringi said he was not on Team Iran, North Korea, Gaza, etc. “Ironically, you (Meuser) accuse me of being on Team Iran while you stand beside and promote an Iranian prince whose father was a murderous tyrant, and our support of whom has been instrumental in causing the Iranians to chant Death to America, which you do not seem to know or understand, and apparently and strangely you think the Ayatollahs have forgotten.”

Scaringi ended the exchange by saying it was not worth his time and wished Meuser good luck in all that he does.

If Meuser is trying to promote democracy in Iran by meeting with Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran, he might want to drop the “Crown Prince” title and encourage Pahlavi to do the same.

For Mark to suggest the Shah of Iran is worse than today’s Muslim religious fanatics in iran only proves his ignorance of history. Under the Shah there was far more freedom of the Iranian people which makes the Shah’s Iran more like America. The Shah never invaded his neighbors.

It is true no president should be worshiped including President Trump. But when you look at his efforts to restore America to be as great as it once was in accordance with our constitution and will of the people, only shows how Mark is far off with his criticism. Today’s warlike religious fanatic government in Iran should not be treated the same as other peaceful nations. That is a huge mistake many, including Mark, makes.

I don’t like some of the social positions of President Trump and his family and his closest associates, but he is far from any tyrant that Mark makes him out to be. There is no leader who should go without honest criticizm, but compared to those since the Great Ronaldus Magnus, he is tops.

    Go MAGA!
